Mitt Romney just announced Tea Party Congressman Paul Ryan as his vice presidential pick.
Yes, that Paul Ryan. The one who tried to end Medicare as we know it by
turning it into a voucher system that would cost seniors thousands in
out-of-pocket costs -- just so he could give billionaires a tax break.
Romney and Ryan need to know that giving tax breaks to their
billionaire friends on the backs of our seniors is just plain wrong.They need to know just how wrong they are.
We didn't know how far Romney was willing to go to satisfy his billionaire friends and the Tea Party extremists. But with the Ryan pick it's clear: he's going all in.
We've got to stand up to them.
